The gallery spans 3,500 square feet on the third level of a colonial-era building, across the foyer from our work studio. With windows on three sides, the space offers sweeping views of treetops and the city skyline. Designed to showcase the works on display, it features high ceilings, hand-laid China mosaic flooring, and an abundance of natural light. To ensure versatility in the layout, we’ve incorporated three movable cantilevered walls, pivoted at the columns, allowing the space to adapt as needed.

The gallery serves as a showcase for our diverse furniture and accent collections. It also houses a selection of embroidered artworks created through the Art Residency program at Lucknow’s Kalhath Institute, where I serve as a member of the advisory board. The residency invites artists from within India and around the world to work in close collaboration with our embroidery artisans as part of a three-month program. So we’ve curated a selection that is a thoughtful blend of design and craft, because it’s interesting to see how different artists approach embroidery as a medium and absorb it into their language of working, how they translate their ideas and work using embroidery as a tool.
