Following the completion of Private Collection's Abu Dhabi store, we were brought on board for the Doha boutique.
Larger than Abu Dhabi, the space was to house a special VIP room which would showcase unique pieces and allow for a more private shopping experience. We had this section centrally placed, along with the cash desk; the display would be moved to the periphery. This layout allowed for two large walls featuring hand-embroidered oak tiles on either side of the display.
Continuing with the design language established for branding, the material palette included white marble, oak wood and brass. The central VIP room itself is a collage of fluted oak wood panels juxtaposed in a layered manner, creating screens and levels of transparency. This allows for a semi-enclosed feel, with an air of privacy but not absolutely contained. Between the screens, platforms hold a pair of shoes each, allowing for them to be individually highlighted.
