Blocks of white Makrana marble are hollowed out into individual tubes of 6mm thickness, allowing for light to percolate. The tube is then fitted with strip LEDs, and fixed onto a wall-mount, the light creating a unique effect as it filters through. The tube serves as the base of the lamp, while an alabaster lampshade hand-carved and then inlaid with semi-precious stones by artisans of Agra finishes off the piece. As opposed to a conventional table lamp, in this case it is the base of the fixture that illuminates, as opposed to the shade atop it.
The Marble Inlay Wall Sconce is available in a variety of inlaid and customisable palettes and patterns. The fixtures are made of solid brass and engraved with the studio logo.
