Hermès Theme of the Year: The Spirit of the Faubourg
The brand looks homeward to set the tone for its annual motif, bringing into focus the iconic Hermès flagship store at the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Established in 1880, it is synonymous with the rich history of the maison and its legacy.
Window Design: The Equestrian World of Emile Hermès
April 2024 – June 2024
A historic element of the Faubourg store is the Emile Hermès Museum, located on the upper floors and named after the brand's third-generation president. The museum holds everything from his personal collection of equestrian antiques collected over decades, to rare and vintage Hermès pieces. The displays pay homage to this curation via an equestrian theme, showcasing, among other things, a picnic basket that replicates stables and the store facade, an ostrich feather umbrella carousel, a secret revolving door and a stagecoach.
