Exhibition: The Hermès Horse
When the brand's travelling exhibition, The Hermès Horse, came to Mumbai in October of 2015, it warranted a special change in the window displays; the company started out in the year 1837 as saddle and harness-makers, and this exhibition outlined their equestrian history.
Window Design: Baaraat
October 2015 – January 2016
Using hand-carved wooden panels, as well as block-printed and hand-embroidered fabric drapes, we paid tribute to the horse's pivotal role in the ostentatious Indian wedding procession, each window depicting a traditional prop associated with the baaraat.
